Media Host & Journalism

 

In my every days happy days and sad days busy days and slow days  how I spend the time is my own. I believe everyone have their own little corners little one self which is away from everyone disguised and hidden from the all eyes because no one is more closer to one self than your own self. So we all have hidden faces thoughts and emotions sadness and desires anger and shame all hidden and it goes on and on. That is life. 

My daily activities are pretty simple and I adore them.  I love my own little sweet time with my music favorite shows and clips. Walk in nature and also in the busy streets just floating in this time and move a little nearer in my destined door. 

I do not watch movies may be I am impatient and cannot watch the long prolong view. But  I absolutely love the little clips of comedy and interviews, music video and news clips bios and preaching, little tarot and entertainment, 73 vogue questions to little Stormi Jenner's  patience test , Bourdain's chicken wings to Ramsay's pasta Megan Kelly's sharp tongue to Holly Willoughby's morning laughter I love watching these and this is my private world hidden from everyone. I guess everyone have their private world which is only theirs. In the public places we all have a desire to be accepted by others with the social conditioning and structure how others will accept you is so important and so we all wear a mask to be accepted and impress and follow the norms. Specially when you are older whew you cannot even walk with normal steps. You are so watched and judged. Everybody think they know how the world should be perfect and they forget they only have a limited contract here. And that's how life goes on yada yada . 

Love journalism from an early age. In my favorite visiting places in journalism I have some favorite people whom I adore watching. I love people who sounds very genuine. It is an intuition maybe. So I always go with the persona doesn't matter if they are red or blue or left or right, accepted or hated. It is only about them . Some of my most favorite names at present in the media journalism are Anderson Cooper , George Stephanopoulos , Megan Kelly, Piers Morgan and Holly Willoughby. They are all different have their own belief in red or blue left or right but they are all genuine , controversial and unique. I adore watching them.

Anderson Cooper the host of famous interviews in ABC and his own 360 degree show came from an enriched ancestry Vanderbilt. The story of his mother Gloria Vanderbilt always amazes me. It is not the glitter or glam nor the wealth or riches but her life story is a beautiful painting She endured so much but with so much grace and dignity. It is not when you are at your best or happy places it is when you are tested and suffering excruciating pain how she never lost her grace and dignity that amazes me. Her story sometimes seems similar like Prince Philip story. They both were raised by different family members at an early age and endured an emotional hardship. But both were into glam and wealth. Anderson Cooper  have a contract with a certain media company true and sometimes he have to portray their belief but he is different from others. He never force to get the attentions and he sounds genuine. We can all understand when one have to say something and what one is saying what one have to do for job but still can hold that genuineness and uniqueness of his own. He have it and I like his simplicity and bluntness his speaking skills with ease and his blunt humor. I always enjoy his swaying with the famous past chef Anthony Bourdain and knowing so little of actual food. I really relate sometimes with him when he says "What is there in different types of foods" we have to eat only to exist. I actually relate to that. Not at all a foodie and can survive with a simple fish wrap. Lots of people will not like me having this approach in life. But I am not a foodie and like the same kind of food . So when he said it bluntly in the media it was so enriching. He was also so close to his late mom in each and every of her step and their  book " The rainbow comes and goes" is such a truly enriching novel. Rainbows really comes and goes it is a part of life and we all have to know how to react to that. He lost his father and an older brother and aged much earlier in life took refuge in the wilderness and nature art and travel. Well I enjoy his shows whether a discussion with Stephen Colbert or a funny kicker with Kelly Ripa a serious discussion with Bill Gates or a cheeky comedy with Conan O Brian.  He sounds absolutely genuine and I enjoy watching his shows whether he follows red or blue it doesn't matter. 

Megan Kelly is another of my very favorite anchor and host. She is unique and trust me full of controversies. People always play the I love you and I hate you song with her in her daily life Aggressively attacked in a presidential debate even though the questions were manicured by the media had to switch from red to blue and left to right for a living whew almost lost herselfin the chaos and noise but came back and have an uniqueness about herself. When she speaks she sounds real . She have her own show now and host different topics and married to a wise and good looking author Douglas Brunt . She might not be a sweet next door girl but she is real to me. So the presidential candidate humiliated her since he was feeling threatened in the arena for her boldness and then she was attacked by his supporters too. Later on she speaks candidly for him today and the eyes roll why she is in his side now. Well she speaks on her views on a topic not being in any one side She was thrashed and bashed from NBC for using a word on public platform. Well well that is drama and that is politics. While Lauer survived doing all kind of things for decades she was pushed and out casted for using a word.  She talked bluntly her words were not manicured and she was real.  I absolutely understand the pain she went through after she stood up against Roger Ailes the big honcho of Fox Five. Her reputation was attacked and she lost her identity. A story was written about her which she do not even know. She became a negative character everywhere and it followed her.  She speaks her mind and speak candidly . It is always a pleasure to watch a genuine and blunt speech rather than a manicured and edited script. I also loved the way she conducted a Russian tour with some aggressive questions on the authority. She is super pretty and love  her style too . There has been a movie called" Bombshell" where Charlize Theron played her part and whew she looked exactly like Megan Kelly Thanks to the super talented makeup artist Kazu Hiro. At the end a big fan and admirer of  Megan Kelly                                                                                                                                                                                

George Stephanopoulos is a little different category of journalist in the group of these five. He is an intellect inside and out. He is not aggressive . He is shy and think before he speak. I actually met him in the middle of the street in midtown few times.  He is pretty simple and down to earth. He can absolutely blend with the regular crowds and no one will even notice him and I believe he prefers that. But when he conducts an interview or narrate a particular story he is genuine and it is a pleasure to watch his words and narration and mannerism. He is absolutely genuine. He is a Greek and started his career in political journalism by assisting Michael Dukakis the Massachusetts governor. He is a Columbia grad and  was a leading man in Clinton presidential campaign and as usual he have few controversies his role in the campaign has been described in the movie called " The War Room"  But at the end he is an intellect and was a major part of the white house press in Clinton time. One of his dean in Columbia summed Stephanopoulos in three words funny but he is a combination of " Brain Bucks & Baklava" . He is an intellect and made it and of course as a greek he loves Baklavas. He also love some one who is a total opposite of him. Yes his wife Ali Wentworth. They are so opposite of each other Ali was a  Victoria Secret model absolutely an extrovert and a total noise and anything can come out of her mouth. I wonder some times how they clicked but absolutely adore them maybe the word " Opposite attracts " worked for them . I enjoy watching his interviews doesn't matter which party he supports since he speaks  genuinely  and with so much dignity.

Piers Morgan is another of my very favorite journalist. He is so transparent and genuine and openly speaks his mind. Trust me he is full of controversies for that and whew of course. He was the host of Good Morning Britain and was the star of it. When the whole of Britain was going against a certain political figure he absolutely supported him and was not liked. He never follow the crowds and always stands out. I see the topic he covers sometimes he get into trouble for speaking his mind be it a women issue or race issue Trump issue or Meghan Markle issue a Vegetarian or Meat issue. He is full of controversies.  Well sometimes when the world is speaking and boasting about free speech why it is a controversy when a talk show host is just expressing his own opinion. If you do not like do not watch but you do not have to make a law suit. He is not committing a crime here and there are serious issues and crimes happening around the world. My view on Meghan Markle is pretty simple when Meghan's elderly dad is pleading to talk to her why she just cannot pick up the phone and talk to him instead of doing a huffing and puffing a celebrity interview a lawsuit and so and so forth. The famous interview should be of Meghan and her dad . It is as simple as that. It is not about race or monarchy nor about Piers or media  It is about an individual character and humanity and a daughter.  If some one cannot give compassion and respect to their elderly dad they cannot expect it from others. Well funny it might sound but the ratings of GMB went down after Piers left. The show existed only for him. People like and trust genuine and transparent folks and they cannot be replaced. I enjoy his shows and the interviews he conducts doesn't matter which parties he supports.

Holly Willoughby is another British presenter of the ITV show This Morning. She is not a serious journalist but as soon as you see her you will just like her. Her giggles and smile makes you feel good and happy. She host the show "This morning" with  Phillip Schofield. I enjoy some of the topics and my most favorites are the cooking show which they host with the italian chef Gino D'Acampo . Every time Gino start explaining the recipe with his Italian accent Holly bursts into her giggles and laughter. It is a good show Also their episodes where Holly burst into a giggle with comedian Miriam Margolyes. I just enjoy watching the show because of their attitudes and you simply feel happy and good. I absolutely adore watching Holly and Philip cruise through the show some times covering serious issues and sometimes funny but whatever they do I just like it.
